XXII International Festival for Dance and Songs “Paralia Festival Days”

Fantasy Dance Troupe has been invited to represent the United States at the XXII International Festival for Dance and Songs “Paralia Festival Days.”

This international cultural festival brings together dance and music ensembles from many countries to celebrate cultural traditions, artistic expression, and friendship through the universal language of dance.

Festival highlights include:

• Evening performances on seaside stages and town squares

• Opening ceremonies and festival parade

Performances take place in the evening hours, allowing participants to explore Greece and enjoy cultural excursions during the day.

The Meteora monasteries sit atop towering rock pillars that rise dramatically from the valley below. These centuries-old monasteries are considered one of the most extraordinary spiritual and architectural wonders in the world.

During the excursion dancers will:

• explore the historic monasteries built on massive rock formations

• learn about centuries of Greek history and culture

• visit the charming town of Kalambaka

• enjoy stunning views of the Greek countryside
