FDT traveled to Europe to proudly represent the United States at the international “Côte d’Azur” Folk-Dance & Music Festival, performing alongside dance ensembles from 17 countries in a vibrant celebration of culture, music, and artistic exchange.

A Journey of Art, Culture, and Friendship
The Fantasy Dance Troupe has been officially invited to represent our community and our country at the prestigious XVI International Folk-Dance & Music Festival “Côte d’Azur” in Sanremo, Italy.
This international festival brings together dance groups from around the world to celebrate creativity, cultural exchange, and the unifying power of the performing arts.
Our dancers will have the opportunity to perform on a world stage, connect with artists from other nations, and explore the breathtaking beauty of the Italian and French Riviera.

An Unforgettable Experience in Italy, France, & Monaco
Over the course of 10 incredible days, our dancers will experience the magic of performing, traveling, and learning together along the stunning Italian and French Riviera.
The group will be based in Diano Marina, a picturesque seaside town on Italy’s Ligurian coast known for its golden beaches, charming promenades, and warm Mediterranean spirit.This beautiful destination will serve as our home base for festival events in Sanremo and excursions across France and Monaco.
During the trip, our performers will:
Represent the Fantasy Dance Troupe at two main festival showcases and one parade in Sanremo
Take part in international friendship events and cultural exchange activities
Dance alongside troupes from across Europe and beyond
Explore iconic destinations such as Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Eze, Genoa, and the Ligurian Coast
Immerse themselves in history, art, and the vibrant rhythm of Mediterranean life
Each day begins with breakfast by the sea and ends with laughter, shared meals, and lasting memories — a true celebration of culture, creativity, and connection.

Cultural Excursions
Between performances, dancers will explore some of Europe’s most beautiful and culturally rich cities:
Genoa, Italy – Maritime port city and cultural heritage
Sanremo, Italy – Festival performances and parades
Eze, France – Perfume Factory and medieval village tour
Nice, France – Promenade des Anglais and Old Town charm
Monte Carlo, Monaco – Harbor views and architectural beauty
Cannes, France – The legendary Walk of Stars and historic district
Each stop offers new inspiration, artistry, and an appreciation for the history and elegance of European dance culture.
