FDT's first annual Fantasy Dance Troupe Benefit Dinner Dance

We’re excited to invite you to the first annual Fantasy Dance Troupe Benefit Dinner Dance on Saturday, August 23, here at FDS! This special evening will help raise funds for the training, performances, costumes, scholarships, and community events that support all of our FDT dancers and program throughout the 2025–2026 season.


This will be the beginning of a new annual tradition — a chance for us to celebrate our dancers, connect as a community, and build a strong foundation for the year ahead.


🌟 What Is the Benefit Dinner Dance?

This is an exciting, family-friendly evening full of celebration and purpose! The event will include:

  • A delicious dinner

  • Live performances by FDTroupe dancers

  • A silent auction throughout the evening

  • Dancing, music, and entertainment

  • Time to connect and celebrate with our FDT/FDS community and guests

Guests will enjoy a beautiful night while directly supporting the heart of what we do — year-round youth programming rooted in cultural dance, artistry, and access.


✨ Who Will Perform

  • All returning 2025–2026 FDTroupe dancers are expected to perform if they already know the dances currently in the program.

  • Rehearsals will take place during overnight camp and the first week of classes in August.


💛 How Families Can Help

To make this fundraiser successful, we ask each FDT family to support in two simple ways:

1. Sell or purchase at least 4 event tickets

(You’re welcome to use the tickets for your own family or invite others — our goal is to fill the room with supportive guests.) AND/OR

2. Donate or secure one silent auction item from a local business


Gift cards, themed baskets, services, and local experiences are all great options.

Every ticket and donation truly makes a difference. While helping with either one is wonderful, supporting both areas is especially appreciated, as we rely on both ticket sales and auction contributions to make this event a success. Any help—big or small—goes a long way in supporting our dancers and bringing this special night to life!


🎟 Ticket Info & Sales Contest

We’ll be offering both paper tickets (by appointment) and digital tickets you can share by email or text.

We’re also excited to announce a Ticket Sales Challenge:


The family that sells the most tickets by August 16 will receive two complimentary tickets to our 2026 Annual Concert and be recognized at the event!


Payment options include check, Zelle, or cash. (Details will be shared when you request your tickets.)


📣 Help Us Spread the Word

We’ve attached:

  • The event flyer to share with friends, family, and neighbors

  • Our sponsorship flyer, you can forward to businesses or employers

If you know of a business that might like to sponsor or donate, you can either send them the materials or simply share their contact with us — we’re happy to reach out.
